7 blogs that offer great audiobook reviews and recommendations

March 29, 2016 0 Comments

You're wondering what to listen to next, you don't know where to start on browsing Amazon comments, and you just want a few trustworthy audiobook reviews. Blogs can be a great place to find this sort of thing!

There are many brilliant book review blogs out there (maybe that will be another post), but what's really nice is to get a review of the format that you'll consume the book in - in this case, audio!

We've put together some book blogs that offer really useful audiobook reviews - from storyline, to narration, these could help you pick your next favourite.

This way for the brilliant audiobook reviews:

 1. Lost in Lit

"Short, sweet, spoiler-free reviews from two sisters-in-law that share a passion for books!"

Check out the review of: Ten Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray

 2. Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

This blog contains thorough reviews, audiobook samples, and really useful categories for each book.

Check out the review of: Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan

 3. Cornerfolds

Entertaining reviews with fun star ratings. Mostly Young Adult books on here, but reviews of some other genres too!

Check out the review of: The Maze Runner by James Dashner

 4. For the Love of Words

This great blog is written by Bonnie:

"I have a ridiculous love for the written word. I read anything and everything: Adult fiction, YA, Middle Grade, even the occasional Non-Fiction."

Check out the review of: The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

 5. Lit Slave

Erin welcomes you to Lit Slave:

"I am a wife and mom. I don’t have a lot of extra time. This isn’t a blog looking to get popular or complete with others. We are readers who love to READ, simple as that."

Check out the review of: These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spoonerby

 6. The A P Book Club

A Young Adult book blog with new releases, reviews and give-aways.

Check out the review of: Star Wars: The Force Awakens by Alan Dean Foster

 7. Genuine Jenn

This blog covers topics from books to toys - so many reviews to get your teeth stuck in to.

Check out the review of: Bones on Ice by Kathy Reichs

We love the balance of personal touch and objective review that these bloggers provide, and we love that they include audiobooks so brilliantly.

Be sure to let us know which audiobooks you discover!
