As autumn approaches, so do a whole host of new films. Some of the best of these are undoubtedly the book-to-film adaptations!
With this in mind, here are the books to add to your to-be-read list asap! (And reading includes listening to audiobooks too, of course!)

The Girl on the Train

This was the poster child of audiobooks back in 2015 when it was released, and now it's film adaptation starring Emily Blunt is edging ever closer! The book is a psychological thriller written by Paula Hawkins... get ready to be gripped.

The Light Between Oceans

A Monster Calls

If you watch this film (or read the book) you should probably expect tears - have a look at the trailer to see why! The children's novel of the same name is by Patrick Ness and was published in 2011, winning multiple awards. Siobhan Dowd conceived the novel during her own terminal illness, and the story reflects some of her own personal circumstance.

Wonder

Wonder, written by R. J. Palacio, tells the story of a boy born with a facial abnormality who just wants to fit in. The film adaptation is set to have an all-star cast including Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, and Room's Jacob Tremblay.

All the Bright Places

We don't know much about the film adaptation of All the Bright Places yet, only that it's set to star Elle Fanning and be released some time in 2018. In the meantime, you've got the original book by Jennifer Niven to read! This young adult novel follows Theodore and Violet, as Theodore discovers he can be himself and Violet is reminded to really start living. But as her world grows, his fascination with death increases.

Here's the book trailer in which people mainly rave about the book and say how it has made them look at life differently. You'll have to give it a read to see if you agree!
