Five Ways to Celebrate National Book Lovers Day
5 ways to celebrate National Book Lovers Day
Today (August 9th) just so happens to be National Book Lovers day, so we've put together a few ideas on how you can spend the day.
- Host your own book club
One of the best ways to celebrate Book Lovers Day is by gathering all your book-loving friends and sharing ideas about your favourite books over a big slice of cake.
- Download a new audiobook
You know that book that has been on your TBR list for months now? Well, today is the perfect day to treat yourself and get it! There isn't a more perfect day to delve into a new world.
- Reread your favourite book
Today is the perfect day to get cosy on the sofa or visit your local park and re-read your favourite books. Why not?
- Donate a book to someone else
As a charity, we wouldn't be able to survive if it wasn't for generous donations. By donating to Listening Books, you're giving more people the opportunity to experience the world of books. Donate here!
- Visit your local library
Why not check out what activities are going on at your local library? This is a great idea if you have little ones, as many libraries host different events aimed at children during the summer holidays.
Our service is here to help more people celebrate National Book Lovers Day.
