Your care home, residential setting or nursing home can join Listening Books and all your residents can benefit from our audiobook service. Audiobooks are the perfect choice for residents who can no longer hold a book, have failing eyesight or just find themselves too tired to read. An audiobook can also be a comforting voice to listen to in their rooms, or can be a social activity if residents listen together. You could also try setting up a book group!
Our titles can be streamed online through our website, or downloaded to a portable device such as a phone or tablet using the Libby app.
We stock the classics, romance, naval history, adventure, bestsellers and much, much more. You can borrow five at a time for only £50 per year; that’s five audiobooks for five different residents and as soon as they have been listened to, you can return them and check out another book. There is no limit across the year, listen to as many books as you like!
We always love suggestions from members, so if there are any titles your residents want to request, we will do our best to get them added to the collection.
